Our Experience With the Gazco Reflex 105 Multi-Sided

The multi-sided 105 takes the biggest fire in the Reflex range and opens it up on more than one face. Large enough to have real presence in a room even in its standard form, the multi-sided version makes that presence impossible to ignore from any angle it’s viewed from.

Two-sided or three-sided?

Given the scale of the 105, this really suits larger open-plan spaces — a big kitchen-diner, a substantial peninsula wall, a room built with the fire as the focal point from the outset. In a smaller space it can simply be too much fire; if you’re not sure it suits your room, talk to us before you commit.

The glass

Schott Robax, the same near-invisible heat-resistant glass across the whole Reflex range. We’ve had people in the showroom reach in to pick up a log without realising the glass was there. Across two or three panes on a fire this size, the effect is even more striking.

Installation — plan this early

This is a significant installation and needs planning at the design stage. The fire has to sit within a structure that supports it and finishes properly on every visible face, which means designing the chimney breast or feature wall around the fire rather than fitting it in afterwards.
