Our Experience With the Gazco Reflex 75T

The 75T is our personal favourite at Nulty Providers, and in reality it’s the most realistic fire in the Gazco range. This particular model is designed to fit into an existing chimney. If you’re looking for the Balanced flue version because your home doesn’t have a chimney, click here. The large hand-painted logs each have their own burner, and the burners sit underneath the logs so they’re hidden from view. When it’s lit, the flame envelops the logs rather than passing through them — which is what gives it that realism.

The glass is some of the best on the market too. It’s made by Schott Robax, one of the world’s most renowned heat-resistant glass makers, based in Mainz, Germany since 1884. We’ve actually had people in the showroom reach in to pick up a log without realising the glass was there at all. That’s how invisible it is.

The Reflex 75T is the smaller of the two in the Reflex range. Designed specifically to fill a standard 36″ x 36″ fireplace opening with a little room to spare. That, paired with the near-invisible glass, gives you the feeling of a real fire in front of you.

A Wi-Fi control module is available for both the 75T and its bigger brother, the Reflex 105. It can go in during installation or be added later at your convenience.

The optional linings, explained

The extras are the part people get worried about, so here’s the plain version.

Black glass is the most popular and the dearest. And here’s why: it mirrors the sides and back of the fire, making it look deeper and fuller — the same way a mirror makes a room feel bigger.

Brick lining is exactly as you’d imagine, a brick effect finish akin to a wall.

Vermiculite lining is a sand-coloured smooth board, similar to the bricks you see inside modern stoves.

Ledgestone is a slip brick, very like outdoor cladding or the sort of brick you’d commonly see in fireplace chambers in showrooms.

Black reeded insert is exactly as described — black panels with vertical reeding running top to bottom.

Stovax’s Info on The Gazco 75T

Gazco Reflex 75T gas fire is the fire created by Gazco to be the absolute pinnacle of gas fires. Almost completely embellishes the entire opening of a traditional-style fireplace!
From the ground up, the Gazco Reflex 75t has been meticulously crafted with the highest quality materials blended together to create the most realistic gas fire on the market. Each main log has a dedicated burner to envelope the fuel bed in beautiful dancing flames.
The Gazco Reflex 75T is equipped with an almost invisible non-reflective glass front. Allowing you to enjoy an unrivalled open fire aesthetic, enabling you to enjoy every detail of the fire’s expertly crafted design, from the grains running through the lifelike natural wood logs design to the glowing embers below.

The Emberlight LED bed is what allows the glowing ember effect to be possible. The fuel bed lights up using LED lighting under the fire that is decorated with crushed glass, creating an immersive display. The Emberlight LED’s can be used with or without the main fire being lit, so you can enjoy your fire in the height of summer or in the depths of winter.
The Gazco 75T is a Wi-Fi-controlled gas fire once the wifi control box is purchased as an optional extra. Without Wi-Fi, the Gazco Reflex 75T can still be controlled via the powerful Gazco Harmony 10 control system.

The Harmony 10 control system

Harmony 10 allows you to maintain your chosen room temperature, ignite and extinguish flames and choose a daily or weekly schedule; you can also activate the Reflex’s EcoFlex gas-saving mode. It then regulates the flame height by almost imperceptible degrees, lowering your gas usage while maintaining the natural rise and fall of a real wood fire.
The Gazco 75T is ready for a frameless hole-in-the-wall style installation. It transfers directly into a traditional-style fireplace like the Stovax stone mantel range; for this you should choose the frameless option. However, there are multiple frame options for a luxurious and sophisticated finish if you so desire a more modern Interior design for your gas fire.
The Gazco Evoke Steel, Evoke Glass, Verve XS or IcoN XS. All contemporary frames design to finish off the Gazco Reflex 75T spectacularly well.
