Dovre Vintage 50

The Dovre Vintage 50 is the largest wood-burning stove in the Dovre Vintage range and has a wide, landscape window through which you can enjoy the captivating, rolling flames created by Dovre’s Cleanburn system. Firstly, since it is made from cast iron, this stove is highly efficient and suitable for Smoke Control Areas, finally making it the perfect solution for urban dwellers.
Surprisingly, you can achieve up to 9kW of heating power, therefore despite the Dovre Vintage 50 having such a stunning exterior it still can heat large rooms with ease. With its retro looks, your vintage-inspired stove is perfectly complemented by a choice of finishes, both of which will create a striking focal point for any interior space. Four cylindrical legs support your Vintage 50 wood burner.

Finally, each of their stoves and fires begins its life in our foundry. Firing up to 1500°C, furnaces melt down the raw materials to make high-quality cast iron for our products.

Since Dovre Vintage 50 Wood burning stoves must meet clean air legislation and building regulations, new EcoDesign criteria, which came into force in January 2022, require all newly designed appliances to be cleaner and more efficient. Look for stoves offering at least 75% efficiency (75% of the heat goes directly into heating a room), although the latest designs are up to 90% energy efficient.
